Aaron I know this comment was left a long time ago but I was just meandering through some old comments and found it again.

IF you haven't already looked nto the possibility of using Obsidian as a Resonance Calendar you definitely should do so! Right now I use a combination of tools to push links and highlights to Obsidian, and I can embed videos as I take notes on them, using a nice combination of tags and links between other pages I can link anything I read to other things and/or other ideas/themes in general. So, while not as robust as what Ive seen (and used) in Notion, it works quite nicely for my needs :D
