Interesting. I have heard of Obsidian but not Roam Research. I’ve also seen several people post about using Notion as their Zettelkastens — and I love using Notion already, so I’m considering using that to start with.

Using a plain text version sounds wonderful, but I really like the idea of including other bits of data in mine, like images or video.

I was also curious if you’ve read or seen a video by Ali Abdaal has his Resonance Calendar idea, which is linking things together in a much similar way. I would recommend seeing what he’s done using Notion and his idea of the Resonance Calendar — I think it is similar to a Zettelkasten, but mostly for content.
