So very true. I find there's a fine balance between trying to go look for those oranges and trying to move on.

For instance, the more I think about past issues (neglect, abuse, trauma) the more my thoughts center on it. Rather than dwell on it more, I used to run away - from the feelings and the memory.

Over time it became harder and harder to remember large portions of my life. Either I ran away from them or I went looking for oranges and got lost ;-)

The difference a good therapist makes is incalculable.
