Yes and no - it helps tremendously in that I can recall quotes in conversation more easily, even if I can't recall them word for word. But I'm not perfect at keeping it up and so I fall behind in adding more quotes to go through.

I have another article about why my memory is so bad but I don't know that I answered the question succinctly - basically my memory issues are due to a combination of ADD and CPTSD (which causes personal memory loss from some of my long term memories).

I guess since I have so little control over how easily I remember things, I want to remember the things I find insightful. Over the years, those are the things more easily forgotten.

The difference now is maybe more due to realizing I can do more to offset my memory issues, but I'm more confident that I can remember the things that matter, even if I have to help myself remember those things, if that makes sense.

Thanks for the questions and sorry for the late response - but I hope that helps!
